SENATOR FLANAGAN THROWS OUT FIRST PITCH AT LONG ISLAND DUCKS GAME

Senator John Flanagan (2nd Senate District) recently threw out the first pitch at a Long Island Ducks game. Senator Flanagan delivered the pitch to Ducks catcher Jamie Pogue to help kick off the July 2nd home game against the Camden Riversharks.

"The Long Island Ducks have become an important part of the summer and provide Long Island families with a great way to enjoy professional baseball close to home. Owner Frank Boulton and his entire staff should be commended for providing such a family-friendly atmosphere at their park," stated Senator Flanagan. "It was an honor to take part in the game and I wish the Ducks all the best this season."
